SUNDAY MIXTAPE
Justice - D.A.N.C.E. (Alan Braxe remix) - Remixed by the great Braxe, who was in Australia recently. Braxe is known most for his massic 90's hit 'Music sounds better with you' which he performed under the name Stardust, but has recently been known for producing superlative remixes. This is no different.
Wale - WaleDance - Another artist to make use of the Justice hit is Wale (pronounced Wah-lay), a chicago rapper, who blasts all over the original instrumental with nary a sweat broken.
Daft Punk - Da Funk (Casino Inc Remix) - Continuing with the french disco theme today, French remixers Casino Inc take on the relatively ancient Daft Punk classic. Next up for the is Beethoven's 5th.
Mr J Medeiros - Silent Earth - Mr. J. Medeiros of the Procussions is set to release his album Of Gods and Girls July 24th. Featuring production from Omega Watts, 20Syl of Hocus Pocus and featuring Strange Fruit and Pigeon John. Check out his new track.

....Gets fired from Knocked Up
So here's the deal. Judd Apatow, the director of Knocked Up, invited some of his acting buddies along to do a series of Promo Clips for his new flick 'Knocked Up'. The amusing clips feature apatow faves such James Franco and Michael Cera getting 'fired' from the lead in Knocked Up, all set up of course. Anybody that's seen Freaks and Geeks will appreciate Franco's speech about the state of his career ('Who's Sam Raimi').James Franco gets fired as lead role in Knocked UpMichael Cera gets fired from Knocked Up
Good Cop Bad Cop
Guess what? Baby Pearl is back. Not content ripping Will Ferrell a new one as the beer willing landlord on funnyordie.com, she returns as the Bad Cop to Will's unco-operative. Think Pearl can co-opt a confession out of Ricky Bobby? You bet your sweet ass.Good Cop, Baby Cop
SUNDAY MIXTAPE
It's been three years since the canadian group set hearts pounding with 'Reunion' and 'Ageless Beauty. The orchestral swelling that abounds on the first track from their forthcoming album blends well with the band's dual vocalist's and distortion-filled backdrop.
Cloetta Paris is a new Swedish duo that reminds me a lot of last year’s sensation Sally Shapiro. “I Miss You Someone” has some of the same Italo Disco influences and similar icy vocals.
Crystal In Love” starts off sounding similar to a John Lennon song with Chao repeating “If I love you today / there are no promises / cause baby should I love you tomorrow,” until the song bridges into swirling electro as Chao pitches his voice up to a Marc Bolan falsetto and well beyond. It’s an amazing song to say the very least.
If you're anything like me, you're sick to death of this song. Almost more sickening is the dearth of Remixes it has spawned. However, this latest mix by the recently departed (from Aussie Shore's) Braxe is the greatest. Braxe sprinkled his remix mojo on Kelis's 'Bossy' last year to tremendous effect, and here again he is back on point. It just makes me feel worse that I did not see him live.
