Justice for All

New Justice

Anyone who caught Justice on his recent Big Day Out shows in Australia will know what this man can do (if you weren't sure after 'We are your friends' and 'Waters of Nazareth').
But for the uninitiated, here's a new Justice track off the 'Ed Rec Vol 2' album that's just been released.
The songs a little less abrasive than his previous work, but no less effective. Nothing new, but at this stage, does it need to be?

LCD Soundsystem and the Guest List from Hell ]

Okay, this will be my last LCD post for the week. Surely, you must want to know what the great James Murphy is doing and where he wants to do it, or at least want to know the contents of his Ipod.

Idol Hands are the Devil's work

I don't know if you've been following American Idol (god knows I don't watch it), but there is this guy named Sanjaya who, has a great head of hair and... not much else. Yes I know, a lot of American (and Australian) idols over the years have been shit singers, but this guy takes the cake.
Luckily we have websites like 'What would Jesus Blog' to ease the real worlds pain that this guy surely inflicts on poor americans every week.

Here's an example of the evil that this young man has perpertrated the past few weeks.

LCD Soundsystem - Sound of Silver

The album is out, you should get it. Why? 1) It's good. It sounds good, it sounds modern, it combines the best of the retro with the best of the metro. It sounds like nothing and everything you've ever heard, but more dancepunky.

And, 'Someone Great' is one of the top ten songs of the year thus far. Here's some media where you can find out more from more literate folk than I...

YYYs, Flaming Lips, Walkmen Rock Spiderman 3

Also Black Mountain, Killers, Snow Patrol, Wolfmother
Who's excited for Spiderman 3? Me! Especially now that the soundtrack has been announced. No more emo Spiderman for this one (though I gotta say, that Dashboard song from Spidey 2 is pretty hot)-- Peter Parker's gone full-on hipster.
Due out on CD AND LP May 1 via Record Collection, Spiderman 3: The Official Soundtrack features all completely brand new songs from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Flaming Lips, Record Collection's own Walkmen, the Killers, Black Mountain, Wolfmother, Rogue Wave, Jason Schwartzman (aka Coconut Records), and more.
The Flaming Lips song is called "Spiderman vs. Muhammad Ali"!!! It HAS to rule. It just has to.

So far, the only song that's available is the Snow Patrol one, which can be streamed below.
