SUNDAY MIXTAPE

I'm digging the Arctic Monkey's new album 'Favourite Worst Nightmare' and one of the standout tracks is this one, probably because it recalls the same winning formula that made 'Mardy Bum' and 'A Certain Romance' singalong favourites on the first album

I'm not a huge Fabolous fan, though as he displayed a couple years back with 'Breathe', he has the potential to make classic tracks. This is no classic, but even I couldn't miss the chance to hear F-A-B-O playing tag team with J-Hova and Young Jeezy.

The Field come with a dance track last year called 'Over the Ice', and have finally released an album to capitalise on the hype of that track. Their simple, consistent and undeniably melodic dance compositions ooze into brain and nestle their comfortably for the rest of the day.

Lil Wayne makes so many mixtapes, you wonder how he can have anything of quality left for his albums. Especially when he can take instrumentals like Beyonce's 'Upgrade' and twist them into his own weed soaked brew. 'I'm so high, I could eat a star.' True dat.
